Spanish Teacher, Interpreter, Non-profit Director

Dustin uses a conversational and immersive style of teaching Spanish. Students develop their language skills organically through real-life dialogues, role-playing exercises, and activities that mirror authentic Spanish-speaking situations. The focus is practical usage rather than grammar, allowing students to naturally absorb the language.

Dustin founded the non-profit “Richmond Conexiones,” which served the Spanish-speaking immigrant community in South Richmond for over 10 years. During the pandemic he shifted to his other passion: teaching languages. Dustin learned Spanish living in Mexico where he worked as a language instructor and translator.

I appreciate Dustin’s very systematic and practical approach. He helped me grasp some aspects of grammar that I have been confused about for years.

I really like Dustin’s style of teaching because it’s so interactive and you learn things that you will actually put into practice each day. He is super patient and this is a really effective way to learn Spanish.

I learned more with Dustin than I did in three years of high school Spanish. If you are serious about learning, this class is likely the best option for it’s value and personalized instruction.
